 Definition of oxymoron.

Oxymoron is a Figure of Speech,in which two apparently opposite terms or words , are put together, is called Oxymoron Figure of Speech.

Origin of oxymoron Figure of Speech.

It is an ancient Greek word, which constitutes of two words,i.e ist half  of word is derived from ''Oxus", which means sharp, whereas, 2nd half of word is also an ancient Greek word, means dull or foolish.Now when when combine these words, then it "sharp Dull" i.e sharply dull.
